When you’re playing armchair critic after you leave the movie theater, you might comment on a film’s location, the visuals, the director’s style, or even the number of explosions. But nine times out of 10, the reason you end up liking a movie is because it told an interesting story. It was engaging. It was entertaining. It drew you in and made you care about the characters and the outcome. Kind of entirely unlike most marketing and advertising. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
